What is Wellness in the context of emergency medicine? WHO defines Wellness as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.” ACEP Wellness Guide has identified 7 spokes of Wellness: Emotional, Physical, Occupational, Financial, Spiritual, Social, Intellectual. Many tools are proposed to achieve Wellness, including mindful reflection, self-care activities, getting adequate sleep, exercise, etc. This page does not purport to address the huge topic of Wellness in its entirety.
