    C) Cannabis use is associated with ~10% drug-related ED visits
Cannabis-related ED visits are on the rise. Cannabis use leads to ED visits due to anxiety disorder or panic attacks, transient psychotic symptoms, and in young children, overdose can lead to coma and convulsions. Approximately 1 in 10 cannabis users become addicted, and the risk is higher for those who start using at a younger age. Recent cannabis use increases the risk of motor vehicle crashes by 30-40% (in comparison, blood alcohol level of 0.08% increases the risk by 250-300%). Cannabis products have doubled in potency over the last few decades. THC, the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis, is found in breast milk at concentrations several times higher than plasma. https://scitechdaily.com/mind-boggling-rise-in-psychiatric-disorders-linked-to-increased-cannabis-use/
