    E) Care related to obtaining COVID vaccination
Generally, adolescents are able to self-consent (without parent involvement) for care related to pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease, rape, sexual abuse, contraception, drug or alcohol use, and mental health issues. Although individual states’ laws vary slightly, parent consent is generally required for COVID vaccination of minors under 16-18 years of age.
